Gabrielle Brihn ‘26

Head of Poetry Board

Gabrielle Brihn is a junior from Cleveland, Ohio. She has always enjoyed writing and reading, but she discovered poetry her sophomore year of high school and has been in love with it ever since. She enjoys learning how to play the guitar, running, and mac and cheese. 



Brendan Byrne ‘26

Brendan is a Senior from Yonkers, New York, majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in Government and Medieval & Renaissance Studies. He writes poetry, journalism, and criticism, and possesses an insatiable love for both learning and nature. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Monitor, Vice President of the Philosophy Club, sings in the Hamilton College Choir, and works in the theater department's Scene Construction Shop. His work has been published with Green Ink Poetry Press, The Hyacinth Review, and The Shore. 

Dylan Buckser-Schulz ‘27

Dylan is a third-year from Westchester, New York, who is majoring in Creative Writing. On campus, you can find him playing drums for Hamilton's Jazz Ensemble, playing Badminton with Hamilton's Badminton Club, or joyfully sauntering through the glens. Dylan is the recipient of a fine arts award in creative writing from Interlochen Center for the Arts, and was selected to attend the 2022 Iowa Young Writers' Studio, where he studied poetry under Gilad Jaffe. His work has been published in Kalopsia Literary Journal. His favorite poet is Carl Phillips. He loves his Nintendo Switch, indulging lots of ice cream, and long conversations.

Jackson Smith ‘27

Jackson is a junior from Newtown, Pennsylvania, who is majoring in Literature and Government. He’ll read absolutely anything he can get his hands on, though he especially enjoys psychological introspection and surrealism. He can be found playing trumpet with the Jazz Ensemble, aimlessly wandering through Root Glen, or holed up in the library waiting for inspiration to strike.

Grace Fogarty ‘28

Grace is a second-year from Kensington, MD majoring in Psychology and minoring in Religious Studies. Grace is a member of Red Weather's poetry board and Suture's E-Board, Hamilton's peer-reviewed humanities and social science magazine. On campus, you can find Grace exploring the Glens or in the Chapel. A huge music lover, Grace has a special soft spot for folk and indie-rock, and spends hours staring at the Spotify app reading the time-synced lyrics as she listens to music. 

Mirix Robertson-Leich ‘27

Mirix is a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, studying psychology and literature. In addition to being on the Red Weather poetry board, she sings with the College Choir, does theatre, is a member of CIF, and makes appearances at various clubs. She loves to read and can always be found with a book (or several). She enjoys good coffee, people-watching, and generally wandering around. 


Sadie Anderson ‘29

Sadie Anderson is a freshman from Maryland who’s spent summers teaching children how to write and winters teaching herself. Her favorite genres are theory and fantasy, but her favorite book is The Secret History, which testifies to Donna Tartt’s genius.

Emily Forslof ‘26

Head of Prose Board

Emily is a third-year born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada (pronounced Nuh-vahh-duh) who currently resides somewhere north of the middle of nowhere in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She is a Creative Writing major with a minor in taking advantage of Hamilton's open curriculum. On any given day, you can find her fueling her coffee addiction, tutoring in the Writing Center, broadcasting music for WHCL, making art for Hamilton's feminist publication Green Apple, practicing with her band, and procrastinating her own personal writing. As both an Opportunity Programs Scholar and Kirkland Scholar, she is passionate that everyone has a story to tell, and she can't wait to hear yours!

Morgan Hodorowski ‘26

Morgan Hodorowski is a junior from Hillsborough, New Jersey considering studies in Literature, Chinese, and Philosophy. In addition to the Red Weather Prose Broad, she is also an editor for Suture and The Continental. and organizes volunteer opportunities for HAVOC. When she's not spending hours annotating text, you can find her avidly consuming any and all fantasy and sci-fi media.

Sophia Robertson ‘29

Sophia Robertson is a freshman from San Marcos, Texas, who intends to major in Creative Writing. A long-time writer of prose, she has in recent years fallen in love with poetry and even dabbles in satire as a contributor to Hamilton’s Duel Observer. In addition to writing and reading, she enjoys dancing, spending time in nature, and immersing herself in television, movies, and music (ask about her favorites!), among many other things.


Haley Sharpe ‘27

Haley is a sophomore from Southbury, Connecticut, exploring majors in Creative Writing or Literature, and maybe even Psychology. She loves curating niche playlists for her radio show and you can often find her tucked into the green couch at FoJo with a chai latte, courtesy of her employee discount. A lover of warm sweaters and reading eclectic fiction, she’s resolved to spend more time wandering the glen this year. She was awarded the David Kenyon Webster Prize for Excellence in Writing.

Lindsey White ‘26

Head of Art Board

Lindsey is a senior studying Creative Writing and Art. She’s from Andover, New Jersey, but while she’s on campus, she lives in the KTSA. Her favorite media include oil painting, etching, pen and ink, poetry, and fiction, particularly when her subjects are animals. When not creating, she most likely wishes she was, but you can also find her antiquing, urban exploring, missing her two chihuahuas, birdwatching, or searching for critters in the woods.

Ely Silverman '26

Ely is a senior from Miami and New York with an interest in photography. He's a Literature major and likes reading memoirs, personal essays, confessionals, and whatever else seems interesting. Some of his favorite photographers are LaToya Ruby Frazier, Saul Leiter, Gordon Parks, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Ilse Bing. He also has a radio show and works in collections at the Wellin!


Caitlin Blanksteen ‘27

Caitlin Blanksteen is a junior from Renton, Washington, who is interested in biology, archaeology, and visual art. She loves late night walks, spending time with her friends, and rewatching her favorite shows over and over again. When bored, Caitlin feels the need to create; you can often find her drawing, painting, and sewing. Caitlin particularly enjoys creating mixed media art and intertwining art and writing.



Sarah Aaron ‘28

Sarah is a freshman from Manhattan, New York, and plans to major in Psychology and possibly minor in art. She loves acrylic and oil painting, writing poetry, and digital art. Other than creating art, she loves spending time with her two cats, hiking, and skiing.




Pedro Hernandez ‘29

Pedro Hernandez is a freshman at Hamilton College double majoring in art and something else (he's still figuring it out). While he's primarily a photographer, he also enjoys spending hours poring over personal graphic design projects, working on ceramics pieces when he can find a place that will give him free clay and firings, and screen printing posters whenever he feels compelled to do so.
